So what is it really about as legion would tell us its about the birth of a Messiah, one who came to be King to a lost people. Some would further imply that it is not commercialization of Santa, who by the way derived from an actual historical event. But seen through the Christians eyes would say its a falsehood a trick a bamboozle as it were! As I look at both of these customs, which by the way china doesn't celebrate, I see clearly its about living a life of a legion. Living so you can leave behind a good deed, that will encourage generations to expand upon and even invent or use God help us our imaginations to further it along. Would we say its lying? If we look st it that way, we re sure to know it isn't. Imagination makes you believe outside of the box, makes yu look at something that's is non-fictional and ad some fiction to help you or others along to the same common goal. Lying would be defaming to owns real character or likeness. So what is Christmas, its believing in the unbelievable, the instilling of a royal nugget belonging to the family the way God intended his 1st institution to have... love which gives us faith in one another. The child that would be King is love, the earth is what we are made of and it is us. The life lived must be well travelled like the wise men did following the star. Giving should be to give what one never had, like Santa gave to the children. All of which is love. So Christmas is love, love your family love your friends love the people you don't know... love.
